The 4th Scientific Conference was held in the beautiful, styles rooms of the Witaszyce Palace in the Wielkopolska region. It was yet another opportunity to discuss integration of logistics and the supply chain, and partnership in the supply chain.

The participants discussed supply chain modelling and control based on:

• trust, partner's relations and shaping them,
• creating culture of cooperation within the supply chain,
• configuring supply chains with the application of a multi-agent system, and
• risk management within the supply chain.

During speeches, attention was paid to the application of AI tools within the domain of logistics and manufacturing. Contemplated was the improvement of production capacities with the application of IT tools used to model and simulate production processes. Examined were the variants of equipment maintenance strategy in the aspect of the production process effectiveness and the possibility of preventing human errors in manufacturing processes.

During panel disputes as well as coffee breaks, scientists also discussed issues from the widely-interpreted management, among other things: change factors in the planning and control process, change implementation in business environment and assessment of effectiveness of organisation operation in the form of a workflow model as well as selection of non-standard competitiveness factors.
Plentiful were also issues referring to economy and effectiveness within enterprises. Participants discussed the possibilities and forms of elimination of wastefulness within enterprises.
