Economy and Efficiency – contemporary solutions in logistics and production 2007

logologistykaHow to effectively manage the supply chain in practice? How to optimise the flow of material streams? How to shape flexibility and corporate culture of result-oriented companies? - – answers to those and other questions were looked for by the participants in the 2nd Conference 'Economy and Efficiency – contemporary solutions in logistics and production which was held in Karpacz.

The logistic supply chain was the dominating topic of this year's conference. Analysis of supply networks, dynamic configuration of the supply chain, cooperation and knowledge management within the network of connections and application of demand forecasts to the integrated supply chains were but a few of the numerous topics discussed. A lot of attention was also paid to manufacturing optimisation. The theory of limitations to shaping the manufacturing assortment was the topic of discussion during the coffee breaks.

- There are no simple answers to the following question: how to deal with current problems? It involves solving future problems which, with time, become current problems, said Professor Marek Fertsch, Ph.D., Eng.
